Intelisure was founded in 2009 by Louise Paglen, a licensed attorney and insurance agent with many years of experience providing risk management services to lawyers and paralegals. Louise started her insurance career as a Claims Attorney with Lawyers Mutual Liability Insurance Company and was later promoted to Vice President of Risk Management, a position she held until resigning to open Intelisure LLC. Louise founded Intelisure because she enjoys serving the legal profession and wanted to provide an independent source for risk management and insurance advice for law firms. In her role as an independent agent, Louise is able to provide clients unbiased and confidential counsel regarding a variety of risk management and insurance resources.
Louise Paglen holds a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law at Chapel Hill and a Masters in Risk Management and Insurance from Florida State University. She is an active member of the North Carolina Bar Association and serves as Chair of the Leadership Subcommittee of the Women in Profession Committee. She is also active in the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys and serves as an Advisory Council member of the Authorized Practice Committee of the North Carolina State Bar. She is also a member of the UNC Law Foundation Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Subcommittee.
Louise is well known in the legal community for providing thoughtful risk management counsel as well as engaging presentations and continuing legal education (CLE) programs for lawyers and paralegals.
